Developer Sheen Lane has secured 35,000 sq ft of lettings at its mixed-use redevelopment in Richmond, React News can reveal. Third Space – a luxury health and fitness group – has signed up for 30,000 sq ft of space across the basement, ground and first floor at the former House of Fraser department store on George Street. Sticks’n’Sushi, a Danish-Japanese restaurant group, has signed for 5,000 sq ft at ground floor level.

Third Space, which is set to open in summer next year, will feature a gym and studios for pilates, HIIT, hot yoga and spinning, along with a swimming pool, sauna and steam room.

Martin Tynan, a director at Sheen Lane, said:

“We have said for some time that this building is of great importance and significance to the vitality of Richmond town centre and securing partners of the calibre of Third Space and Sticks’n’Sushi will elevate the building and reinvigorate this end of the high street. We welcome the commitment of both occupiers, who share our vision for this special building in creating a landmark mixed-use development, of which a best-in-class restaurant and health and wellbeing club fits perfectly.”

Sheen Lane was represented by Clifton Agency and Distrkt.
