Town Centre Securities (TCS) has announced the acquisition of a new London head office on Weymouth Street.

The acquisition gives TCS a new London base following the sale of its previous headquarters on Duke Street in 2021. The space is in the heart of London’s medical district, only a short distance from London and Harley Street clinics, as well as King Edward VII and Princess Grace hospitals.

The 4,760 sq ft grade II-listed property has recently been refurbished and provides both office and residential use. The lower-ground to second floors currently comprise office use, with residential accommodation occupying the third floor.

Rob Thompson, asset manager at TCS, said:

“The strategic acquisition of Weymouth Street further enhances our portfolio with the addition of this prime property in one of the capital’s most revered locations. The investment aligns with our core acquisitions and investment strategy where long-term value can be added.”

The property also grants convenient access to Baker Street, Bond Street and Marylebone High Street underground stations as well as to the A40/M40.

Investment surveyor at Clifton Jacob Ziff commented:

“It has been great to work with TCS again to satisfy their London office requirements following the sale of the company’s Duke Street base last year. The ability to purchase this attractive freehold, so close to Marylebone High Street, is a rarity in itself and establishes a perfect base for the company to grow in the capital.”
