Clifton Dine at The Palace

On Wednesday 27th September, Clifton attended the annual United Jewish Israel Appeal (UJIA) Dinner at Kensington Palace, with over 400 attendees from across the UK.

Investment Surveyor, Jacob Ziff was kindly invited to join the dinner by UJIA’s young professional’s group for an incredible evening at such an impressive venue.

Prior to the event and during the reception, guests were invited to see the Crown to Couture fashion exhibition featuring over 200 items from ball gowns to court suits and handbags to jewellery worn by celebs including Beyonce, Katy Perry, Kendall Jenner, Ryan Reynolds and Queen Victoria.

It was great to have the opportunity to hear the former Israeli Prime Minister, Naftali Bennett, speak about the dangers of a “radical, extremist Israeli government” and calling for a return of the tolerance and compromise that characterised his time in power. Naftali Bennet also received an award for his contribution to the Israel-diaspora relationship.

It was a wonderful opportunity to network with other Jewish professionals as well as many representatives from the property industry to commemorate achievements of the past year and raise money for the UJIA.

The dinner is estimated to have raised over of £1.4 million, with the money going towards much needed funds to ensure that young British Jews could take part in educational programmes in Israel.
