Jim was an integral member of the CWM Investment team after his arrival in 2012. His surveying career began as an Investment Agent with Knight Frank & GVA in the North-West, before moving to the ‘Big Smoke’ with Lawson & Partners where he extended his cross sector experience further.

In the past 5 years, Jim has worked closely with London Borough of Wandsworth and has been instrumental in their investment acquisition programme and wider development planning. He has become an expert in the re-development and repositioning of Department stores, acting on various landmark buildings in recent years.

 

Jim is a member of the Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and of the Investment Property Forum.

 

Away from the office, Jim will tell anyone that will listen that he played professionally for a number of years and was the ex-Captain of the RICS rugby team. He now fills his time in a sweaty mess desperately trying to keep off the pounds at Third Space gym.

 

When not found at his beloved Harpenden golf course, Jim generally enjoys being bossed around by Mrs Remfry and acting as “Dad taxi” for his three young kids.
